Fantastic Zagreb Film Festival uz već postojeće programe (Panorama, Orient Express i Ponoćno ludilo) najavljuje i dvije nove programske sekcije: Američke noćne more (American Nightmares) i Vizije (Visions). American nightmares posvećen je novom valu mladih američkih autora i izuzetno vibrantne američke žanrovske indie scene, ali i veteranima kao što su to ove godine Francis Ford Coppola i William Friedkin. S druge strane Visions je program posvećen avangardnijim, eksperimentalnijim, otkačenijim i bizarnijim dugometražnim naslovima koji najteže pronalaze put do šireg gledateljstva, ali prezentiraju vrlo jake i osebujne autorske glasove koji su često miljenici festivala.
U suradnji s HBO-om i ove će godine FZ prikazati cijelu drugu sezonu svjetskog fantasy spektakla ‘IGRA PRIJESTOLJA‘ u sklopu programa Noćni maraton, u subotu i nedjelju (30.6. i 1.7.) u kinu Europa!
Festival će u petak 6. srpnja zatvoriti Carpenterov ‘THEY LIVE’ u suradnji sa Sudnjim danom, festivalom kreativnih komunikacija koji će se ove godine održati 21. 12.
Ovogodišnji Fantastic Zagreb film festival odvijat će se na tri lokacije: ljetna pozornica Tuškanac, kino Europa i Cineplexx Kaptol.
Osim bogate filmske ponude, ovogodišnje izdanje Fantastic Zagreb Film Festivala ponudit će posjetiteljima i pregršt zabave, a za ovu prigodu, legendarni zagrebački Ham Ham za vrijeme trajanja festivala, bit će pretvoren u Fan Fan Lounge, mjesto ludih večernjih tuluma i dnevnog chill outa tj. festivalski meeting point filmofila, filmaša, novinara, gostiju, publike i svih ljubitelja Fantastic Zagreba i fantastičnih filmova.
