Na ovogodišnjem, 6. Kastav film festivalu bit će prikazano 120 filmova iz 23 zemalje.
Filmovi će se sva tri dana festivala prikazivati na tri lokacije u Kastvu: u Loži, na Fortici i po prvi puta, u Garaži.
U petak se, nakon dvije godine izbivanja, Punčke vraćaju na mjesto zločina – kastavsku Forticu, gdje će promovirati svoj album ‘Sunčano s povremenom naoblakom’.
Koncert počinje u 22.30 sati, nakon projekcija filmova.
Podsjećamo da su sve projekcije i ulaz na koncert besplatni.
Cilj festivala jest potaknuti razvoj medijske slobode i filmskog medija, učiniti filmske festivale mjestima otvorenim za sve koji/e žele stvarati, pružiti mogućnost kreativnim pojedincima i filmskim entuzijasti(ca)ma da javno prikažu svoje radove, bez cenzure i selekcije autor(ic)a i sadržaja.
Festival se temelji na konceptu slobodnog i necenzuriranog javnog događaja i osiguravanju javnog prostora onima kojima isti originalno pripada – javnosti.

The 6th edition of Kastav Film Festivalwill host 120 films from 23 countries.
As always, during three days of the festival, the films will be projected on 3 different locations in Kastav; Loža, Fortica and, for the first time, the Garage.
After two years of absence, Punčke will be returning to the crime scene – the Fortica of Kastav, where they will be promoting their new album ‘Sunčano s povremenom naoblakom’. The concert is scheduled on Friday at 22.30, after the projections on Fortica end. We remind all that the film projections as well as the concert are free of charge.
The aim of the festival is to encourage the development of film and free media, as well as to make film festivals a place of inclusion – open for everyone who wants to create and make a statement. We encourage everyone to publicly show their work, without selection or censorship.
The idea of the festival is to provide public space for the ones it originally belongs to, and that is, to the public.
