ENTITY starring Branko Tomovic wins ‘Best Feature Film’ at this year’s British Horror Film Festival
The Award Ceremony of this year’s exciting British Horror Film Festival just took place at the glitzy Empire Cinema, Leicester Square in London.
Steve Stone’s Entity starring Branko Tomovic, Dervla Kirwan and Charlotte Riley picked up nominations in six categories, including Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Cinematography and British Horror Award and it took home the grand prize for Best Feature Film. For this special occasion Branko chose to wear a studded leather coat by the up and coming young Serbian designer Jovan Stevanovic.
Branko Tomovic has just been chosen by leading international men’s fashion magazine ICON as one of five rising stars in British cinema. He recently finished shooting on the new David Ayer movie, the WW2 drama “Fury” opposite Brad Pitt, Shia Labeouf, Scott Eastwood and Logan Lerman. And next, Branko will portray the great iconic Serbian inventor Nikola Tesla in the biopic “Tesla” by Michael Anton with Mirjana Karanovic playing Tesla’s mother and Hristina Popovic and Marija Karan also attached to the cast.
Entity Synopsis:
In 1998, thirty four unidentified bodies were found in shallow graves in a remote Siberian forest. After subsequent investigations, no official explanation by the Russian authorities was ever offered about the circumstances of the deaths. The case was closed. In 2010, a small English TV crew from the show ‘Darkest Secrets’ set out for the Siberian forest. ‘Darkest Secrets’ focuses on revisiting the sites of unsolved crimes and they employ the gifts of a psychic whose extraordinary powers may help shed new light on cold cases. The last communication to their production office in London stated that they were approaching the Siberian region where the bodies were found. Nothing was heard from them again. ‘Entity’ is the story of what happened to them. The forest was only the beginning….

Radnja filma počinje 1998. kada su u Sibiru pronađena 34 neidentifikovana tela. Posle trogodišnje istrage, ruska policija nije objavila šta se zapravo desilo i slučaj je zatvoren. Dvanaest godina kasnije, mala engleska TV ekipa kreće u sibirske šume kako bi snimila i upotpunila svoju kolekciju epizoda o nerazjašnjenim slučajevima. Poslednje reči koje su članovi produkcijskog tima čuli od njih bile su da su stigli na planiranu lokaciju, a zatim im se gubi svaki trag.
