Premijera predstave Ples u 2043. Sonje Pregrad i Willyja Pragera održat će se u četvrtak 31. listopada s početkom u 20 h u Zagrebačkom plesnom centru (Ilica 10). Reprizna izvedba biti će u subotu 2.11. u isto vrijeme.

Willy Prager i Sonja Pregrad započeli su projekt ‘Ples u 2043’ pitajući se kako će ples kao izvedbena umjetnost izgledati za trideset godina i kako će njih dvoje tada plesati?
Radili su sa konceptima science fiction-a i parazitiranja, koristeći (tuđe) osobne stavove i priče kao paradigme. Postavili su 43 pitanja koreografu (30) i koreografkinji (60), a onda su reformulacijom njihovih odgovora, uštrcavši injekciju science fiction-a (inspirirani idejom da je SF sve što se proglasi SF-om), došli do izvedbe tekućeg stanja.
Kako zamisliti budućnost? Da li zamisliti budućnost znači stvoriti je?
Kako otplesati budućnost sada i ovdje? Kako razumjeti procjep od 30 godina?
A poduzetništvo plesa? Hoće li ples postati primijenjena umjetnost u kreiranju naprava budućnosti, kroz razumijevanje prirodnog? Ili je budućnost plesa u tome da nestane, da jednostavno bude dio svake naše težnje? Zašto se kretati ako mogu učiniti sve? To je odgovor. Napravi budućnost. Podbaci budućnost. Podbaci bolje. Willy Prager and Sonja Pregrad started the project ‘A dance in 2043’ asking themselves: how will dance as performing art look in 2043, and how will the two of them be dancing it then? They were working with concepts of science fiction and parasitizing on individual histories as paradigms. During the process of creating the performance Sonja Pregrad and Willy Prager parasitized on the thoughts about the dance practice from one young and one old choreographer. Through the process of reformulation and translation, injected with some SF (and the proposal by their friend that Science fiction is what you say Science fiction is), they created the artistic material of the performance which will become a liquid state that everyone can taste.
How to imagine the future? Is to imagine the future in a performance to create a future?
How to dance the future here and now? How to understand the 30-year jump?
Bussiness of dance? Will dance be the applied arts in creating the gadget of the future through understanding the nature? Or is the future of the dance to disappear, to be dissolved into every pursuit that we do? Why to move if I can do everything? This is the answer.
Make the future. Fail the future. Fail better. With fears and hopes.
