Nighta Shyamalana, Indijca koji se proslavio hororom &#8216;\u0160esto \u010dulo&#8217;, s radnjom smje\u0161tenom u dalekoj budu\u0107nosti. Ljudska rasa je izbjegla u svemir pred opakim osvaja\u010dima koji su Zemlju naselili krvo\u017eednim bi\u0107ima \u017eeljnim ljudske krvi. Jedan od vojnih zapovjednika nove ljudske zajednice (Will Smith) kre\u0107e svemirskim brodom u misiju na koju povede i svojeg maloljetnog sina (Jaden Smith, sin Willa Smitha), a brod pogode meteoritske ki\u0161e. Jedini su pre\u017eivjeli su Otac i Sin, s time da je Otac te\u0161ko ranjen, a Sin kre\u0107e na duga\u010dko putovanje u neprijateljskom okru\u017eju kako bi do\u0161ao do signalnog ure\u0111aja i uputio poziv u pomo\u0107&#8230; Film zbog pojednostavljenog pristupa nije ispunio o\u010dekivanja ni SF fanova ni po\u0161tovalaca djela redatelja M.
