Film bi mogao \u017eanrovski okarakterizirati kao feministi\u010dki ili &#8216;\u017eenski&#8217; horor. Redateljica je \u017eena kao i glavne junakinje koje se u svojoj \u0161kolskoj ustanovi bore protiv mu\u0161kih mra\u010dnih sila. Ne radi se o didakti\u010dko kriti\u010dkim naslovima jer film slu\u017ei prvenstveno za zabavno stra\u0161enje.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; width: 100%;\" src=\" https:\/\/i.postimg.cc\/9Mv6nHpd\/Black-Christhmas-9.jpg \" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Par dana prije Bo\u017ei\u0107a ve\u0107ina studenata sprema se napustiti koled\u017e kako bi praznike proslavili sa svojim obiteljima. Malobrojni koji ostaju u gotovo praznom koled\u017eu s dvjestogodi\u0161njom tradicijom (osnovan je 1819. ), vr\u0161e posljednje pripreme za put ili proslavu u koled\u017eu. Sve bi bilo idili\u010dno, da jedna od djevojaka iz sestrinstva nije nestala, odnosno nije doputovala ku\u0107i, kako je javila njezina majka. Situacija izgleda bezazlena sve dok maskirani lik ne po\u010dne terorizirati ostale \u010dlanice sestrinstva. Jedna od njih, koja je prije par godina do\u017eivjela silovanje, smatra da je to povezano s njezinim silovateljem koji se vratio na koled\u017e\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Autori su se u prvoj polovici filma \u017eanrovski opredijelili za \u010disti triler, i film je tako dobro funkcionirao. Mlade djevojke \u017ertve su dru\u0161tvenih predrasuda koje name\u0107u kako su mu\u0161karci, kao superiornija bi\u0107a, a \u0161to je moto i osniva\u010da koled\u017ea izvjesnog Hawthornea, \u010dija bista je pokreta\u010d mra\u010dnih doga\u0111aja. Ali kad u\u0111e u zonu sumraka u kojoj se vo\u0111e mu\u0161kog bratstva slu\u017ee nadnaravnim manipulacijama, film se na\u0111e u svojevrsnoj koliziji \u017eanrova. Ovime se unosi zabuna koja poni\u0161tava postignute efekte, da ne ka\u017eem i nasmijava publiku. A neke scene kao da su preuzete iz nekih filmova, primjerice &#8216;Vriska&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Redateljica Sophia Takal glumila je u tridesetak filmova, izme\u0111u ostalih i u horor omnibusu \u2018V\/H\/S\u2019 (2012.).
