Film traje gotovo tri i pol sata i rijetko tko si mo\u017ee priu\u0161titi luksuz sjedenja u komadu, bez ometaju\u0107ih faktora, toliko dugo. Osim ako se film gleda u kinu. Rascjepkano gledanje naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e zna\u010di i razvodnjavanje do\u017eivljaja. \u010cak je i sam Scorsese upitan je li &#8216;Irishman&#8217; mogao biti TV serija, jer je materijala za to sasvim dovoljno, rekao kako je film namijenjen da se pogleda u jednom sjedenju. Detalji su va\u017eni, emocionalni udarac je va\u017ean, a pri\u010da je jasnija kada se sve proguta odjednom. Jedino je pitanje tko danas ima tri i pol sata vremena i pozornosti da ih provede isklju\u010divo gledaju\u0107i u ekran.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; width: 100%;\" src=\" https:\/\/suvljevepreporuke.files.wordpress.com\/2019\/12\/hfe1830_v200_2d_067908.0544962rw-768x432-1.jpg \" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ova epska pri\u010da pokriva nekoliko desetlje\u0107a i krcata je imenima i stvarnim likovima od kojih je sredi\u0161nji Frank &#8216;The Irishman&#8217; Sheeran (Robert De Niro), veteran Drugog svjetskog rata i voza\u010d kamiona. Njegov uspon u kriminalnom podzemlju Philadelphije vezan je uz obitelj Bufalino na \u010dijem je \u010delu Russell (Joe Pesci). Frank svojom hladnokrvnom i pragmati\u010dnom egzekucijom \u0161efovih naputaka munjevito stje\u010de ime me\u0111u najopakijim nju\u0161kama 20. stolje\u0107a u Americi. Put ga tako navodi do ultra-popularnog Jimmyja Hoffe (Al Pacino) koji je bio predsjednik Teamsters unije voza\u010da kamiona koja je tada brojala preko pola milijuna ljudi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Trolist ovih gluma\u010dkih ikona klju\u010dan je faktor &#8216;The Irishmana&#8217;. Iako je na momente \u010dudno gledati toliko ostarjela lica koja bolje pamtimo iz nekih mla\u0111ih dana, njihovo umije\u0107e je i dalje evidentno. Uz pomo\u0107 digitalnog pomla\u0111ivanja Pacino, Pesci i De Niro uspijevaju odigrati svoje likove od 50-ih pa prakti\u010dki do 2000-ih godina. Jedino \u0161to ih ponekad odaje je njihovo dr\u017eanje koje s vremena na vrijeme zaista djeluje stara\u010dki. Glasine ka\u017eu kako je Scorsese sedamdesetpeto godi\u0161njeg Pescija zamolio vi\u0161e od pedeset puta da iza\u0111e iz gluma\u010dke mirovine samo za ovaj jo\u0161 jedan njegov film i na kraju ga je uspio nagovoriti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Uz njih trojicu koji vode glavnu rije\u010d, u filmu se nalazi \u010ditava plejada poznatih imena i faca od kojih su poneki svedeni na svega par scena. &#8216;The Irishman&#8217; je napravljen prema\u00a0 knjizi &#8216;I Heard You Paint Houses&#8217; Charlesa Brandta koja je kronika Frank Sheeranovog \u017eivota. Frank je u svojim opisima naveo mnoge stvari koje se ne poklapaju sa stvarnim dokazima, ali je isto tako bilo i onih obrnutih stoga je diskutabilno koliko su ovi doga\u0111aji zaista istiniti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">U kombinaciji humora, drame i raznolikih zapleta na kraju prevladava osje\u0107aj kako je &#8216;The Irishman&#8217; u su\u0161tini film o prolaznosti vremena, o odlukama u pojedinim trenucima \u017eivota koje nas prate do samoga kraja te o otu\u0111enosti i odba\u010denosti u poznim godinama koja nas ve\u0107inu neminovno \u010deka.
