Obi\u010dno nam to promakne, u razmaku izme\u0111u niza for\u0161pana i upozorenja da ugasimo mobitel, ali dogodi se i da &#8216;osvijestimo&#8217; tu uljudnu frazu. Danas sam u\u017eivala u filmu. Ne na onaj na\u010din na koji se u\u017eiva u autorskim filmovima i filmovima s anga\u017eiranim sadr\u017eajem, ve\u0107 u komercijalnom filmu koji omogu\u0107uje gledatelju da u kinu &#8216;zaboravi na vrijeme&#8217; i vlastite obveze i da se potpuno prepusti filmskom zapletu. A privremena zamjena vlastite za filmsku stvarnost, zar to nije ono \u0161to ve\u0107ina gledatelja zapravo i o\u010dekuje od odlaska u kino?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Film okarakteritziran kao &#8216;farmaceutski triler&#8217; ne ulazi u zastra\u0161uju\u0107a pitanja o utjecaju profitnih farmaceutskih kompanija u dru\u0161tvu, ve\u0107 se koncentrira na pojedina\u010dno pitanje odgovornosti za zlo\u010din jedne pacijentice i njegove motive. Ovo je jo\u0161 jedan od novijih ameri\u010dkih filmova koji doti\u010du neka od najosjetljivijih pitanja (spomenimo dubioze o demokraciji u akcijskom &#8216;Padu Olympa&#8217;), a onda ostavljaju to osjetljivo mjesto, bave\u0107i se partikularnim i time rje\u0161ivim pitanjima. Na\u010din na koji farmaceutske kompanije manipuliraju zdravstvenim i pravnim sustavom i na\u010din na koji se na burzi manipulira vrijednostima tih (i drugih) kompanija, ostaju pitanja koje &#8216;Sporedni efekti&#8217; nazna\u010duju i produ\u017euju dalje. Film se ne bavi dublje ni nazna\u010denim pitanjem korumpiranja lije\u010dnika (u konkretnom slu\u010daju psihijatara) od strane farmaceutske industrije, kud bi nas to odvelo! Pa kao \u0161to se u detektivskim filmovima uvijek iznova uhi\u0107uju mali ili izolirani ve\u0107i lopovi, ostavljaju\u0107i sustavni perpetuum mobile za nove zakonske lovice, tako se i ovdje rje\u0161ava izdvojena spletka, dok se veliki posao oko zarade na zdravlju i du\u0161evnoj bolesti ostavlja u benignom stanju. Ali, da bismo u\u017eivali u filmu, zar nije potrebno kloniti se prete\u0161kih tema? Izostavljanje frustriraju\u0107ih elemenata stvarnosti uvjet je u\u017eitka u iluziji. Dvostruko zapleten zaplet, dobro razra\u0111eni likovi, majstorska re\u017eija, istan\u010dan casting i uvjerljiva gluma. Uz odli\u010dnu glazbu, zamjetljiva je sofisticirana kostimografska funkcija. Odje\u0107a koju likovi nose ne samo da odra\u017eava njihov dru\u0161tveni status, ve\u0107 preobra\u017eava njihove osobnosti. Ali, umjesto da iznosim elemente filma izbjegavaju\u0107i one elemente koji mogu otkriti rasplet, osvrnut \u0107u se na samo jednu dionicu filma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">U jednoj usporenoj nijemoj sekvenci Soderbergh poetski opisuje ugodu bogatstva. Scene u kojima mladost u\u017eiva u svemu \u0161to se mo\u017ee kupiti, bezazleno i prirodno kao da je to kisik bez kojeg se ne mo\u017ee disati, li\u0161ena je negativnih konotacija. Nije to neukusno pretjerivanje mahnitih rasipnika koji bacaju da to drugi vide ili nezasitno gomilanje kod poslovi\u010dnih \u0161krtaca. Djeca potro\u0161a\u010dkog booma samo rade \u0161to su ih nau\u010dili, \u010dine\u0107i kupnjom dobra djela svjetskoj ekonomiji. U zami\u0161ljenoj ideolo\u0161koj prezentaciji ovaj materijal mogao bi se koristiti kao reklamna himna potro\u0161a\u010dkog kapitalizma, iako Soderberghu nije ni na kraj pameti ideolo\u0161ki anga\u017eman, ve\u0107 motivacija likova. Haljina skupocjene jednostavnosti koju nosi \u017eena kao lutka i koja bez te haljine ne mo\u017ee biti, simbolizira sve one ovozemaljske radosti kojih se odri\u010du oni koji se dr\u017ee pravila i sva ona sotonska isku\u0161enja kojima neki ne moraju odoljeti. To nije haljina koju \u0161opingiraju \u017eenske kozmeti\u010dke tvorevine u potrazi za uspje\u0161nim mu\u0161karcem, ve\u0107 haljina savr\u0161enog dizajna iznikla za to tijelo, srasla s tim bokovima kao latica oko tu\u010dka, to je haljina koju ne mo\u017ee\u0161 svu\u0107i, a da ne slomi\u0161 Barbiku.
