Image by Cian Copeland for Culture Night Dublin 2024<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tijekom izvedbe Rita Marcalo i plesa\u010d iz Zagreba \u2013 Viktor Konstantinovi\u0107 pozivaju prolaznike na ples, simboli\u010dki \u201ezamjenjuju\u0107i\u201c palestinske plesa\u010de koji nisu u mogu\u0107nosti biti prisutni. Stoje na ulici ra\u0161irenih ruku, nose\u0107i majice s natpisom \u201ePle\u0161i sa mnom\u201c. Nakon \u0161to prihvati poziv na ples, sudionik dobiva set kartica s kratkim informacijama o plesa\u010dima iz Gaze i dje\u010djim crte\u017eima nastalima prema njihovim fotografijama, \u010dime se \u0161titi njihov identitet. Odabirom jednog od umjetnika odabire i plesni duet te putem slu\u0161alica slu\u0161a njegovu osobnu pri\u010du i glazbu po njegovu izboru, dok ples ostvaruje posredstvom jednog od izvo\u0111a\u010da. Uz dopu\u0161tenje sudionika, susret se mo\u017ee snimiti i podijeliti na dru\u0161tvenim mre\u017eama kako bi umjetnici u Gazi mogli svjedo\u010diti izvedbi svojih radova i osjetiti podr\u0161ku ljudi iz razli\u010ditih dijelova svijeta. Na taj na\u010din nastaje privremeni prostor povezanosti izme\u0111u osoba koje se nikada nisu susrele, ali dijele isti trenutak kroz pokret, glas i prisutnost.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ovogodi\u0161nje izdanje projekta donosi premijeru radova dvoje novih koreografa iz Gaze, Spirita i Medooa, koji su svoje plesne duete i audio-zapise razvili izravno iz Gaze u suradnji s Ritom Marcalo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Projekt Ples sa strancima istra\u017euje mogu\u0107nosti plesa kao sredstva komunikacije preko granica, jezika i politi\u010dkih podjela te propituje na\u010dine na koje umjetnost mo\u017ee odr\u017eati prisutnost onih kojima je javno djelovanje ograni\u010deno ili onemogu\u0107eno. Kroz neposredan susret s publikom, projekt pretvara koreografiju u \u010din slu\u0161anja, svjedo\u010denja i zajedni\u010dkog otpora.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Projekt je dodatno podr\u017ean fondom Culture Ireland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>O umjetnici:<\/strong><br \/>\nProjekt potpisuje portugalska koreografkinja, izvo\u0111a\u010dica i umjetni\u010dka direktorica Rita Marcalo, osniva\u010dica organizacije Instant Dissidence sa sjedi\u0161tem u Irskoj. U svom interdisciplinarnom radu na sjeci\u0161tu plesa, aktivizma i dru\u0161tvenog anga\u017emana istra\u017euje teme migracija, gra\u0111anstva, ekologije, sje\u0107anja i dru\u0161tvene uklju\u010denosti, \u010desto sura\u0111uju\u0107i s lokalnim zajednicama i neprofesionalnim sudionicima. Nakon akademske karijere u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu, od 2013. djeluje kao samostalna umjetnica, a njezini su radovi predstavljeni na brojnim me\u0111unarodnim festivalima i platformama. Me\u0111u njezinim zna\u010dajnijim projektima isti\u010du se Dancing With Strangers: From Calais to England (2018.), SlowMo (2022.) i SlowTides: Embodied Journeys and Island Narratives.
