U kinima svaki tjedan na repertoar dolazi novi horror, ali rijetko je neki inovativan u podru\u010dju tematike i pristupa. Navikli smo na nadnaravne sile i razna \u010dudovi\u0161ta ili krvave ubojite tipove, a sada na scenu stupa ne\u0161to \u0161to je te\u0161ko pojmiti. U principu ni\u0161ta se ne doga\u0111a, malo toga se vidi, a mnogo toga nazire, \u010ditava situacija te\u0161ko da se mo\u017ee objasniti razumnim argumentima, a iracionalni aspekt provla\u010di kroz \u010ditav film. Likovi su se na\u0161li u svojevrsnoj prostornoj i vremenskoj klopki. Film na koji najbli\u017ee asocira je danas zaboravljena \u2018Kocka\u2019 (Cube; 1997.) Vinzenza Natalija, koja je imala i svoj manje uspje\u0161ni nastavak \u2018Cube 2: Hypercube\u2019 (2002.) Andrzeja Sekule.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arhitekt Clark (Chiwetel Ejiofor) neuspje\u0161ni je poduzetnik i vlasnik trgovine namje\u0161taja. Veliki ra\u010duni za potro\u0161nju struje za koje nema obja\u0161njenja odvest \u0107e ga u podrum iznajmljenog prostora i otkriti \u010dudna vrata koja vode u ogromni paralelni prostor njegovog iznajmljenog du\u0107ana. Umjesto da digne uzbunu, Clark \u0107e po\u010deti sam istra\u017eivati taj multiplicirani ambijent u kojem su sadr\u017eaji ina\u010dice njegovog stvarnog svijeta, ali odmaknute na neobi\u010dan na\u010din, kao u futuristi\u010dkoj umjetnosti (sjetimo se De Chirica i Mauritsa Cornelisa Eschera) ili njema\u010dkog ekspresionisti\u010dkog filma. U tom prostoru koji se sastoji iz beskona\u010dnog niza prostorija \u010duje \u010dudne zvukove, a na rubu vidnog polja netko se prikrada ili promatra. U stvarnom svijetu Clark ide na seanse kod psihijatrice Mary (Renate Reinsve) koja se fokusira na njegov propali brak i odnos s biv\u0161om \u017eenom. A kada se Clark, nakon misteriozne poruke, ne pojavi na seansama, Mary se zaputi u njegovu trgovinu i sama u\u0111e u drugu dimenziju du\u0107ana&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; width: 100%;\" src=\" https:\/\/image.tmdb.org\/t\/p\/original\/jEr6xNbrGH8rZNO4RJETZmnvKgK.jpg \" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fotografiju ustupio <strong><a href=\" https:\/\/www.themoviedb.org\/movie\/1083381-backrooms \" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> TMDB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Film kombinira dokumentarne i igrane snimke, a posti\u017ee efekte autenti\u010dnosti i klaustrofobi\u010dnosti prostora. Zbog snimaka kamerom \u2018iz ruke\u2019 me\u0111u fanovima, ve\u0107 je uspore\u0111en s jednim drugim \u017eanrovskim klasikom, \u2018Vje\u0161tice iz Blaira\u2019 (The Blair Witch Project; 1999.) Daniela Myricka i Eduarda S\u00e1ncheza, s tom razlikom \u0161to su \u2018Vje\u0161ticama\u2019 dokumentarne snimke prona\u0111ene nakon nemilih doga\u0111aja, a ovdje kretanje pratimo u realnom (filmskom) vremenu. \u2018Backhouse\u2019 traje gotovo dva sata, ali vrijeme nestaje u atmosferi neizvjesnosti i napetosti koja se, uz iznimku nekoliko doista drasti\u010dnih udara, ostvaruje prvenstveno finim postupnim pomacima. U jednoj dionici nasilje s krvavim posljedicama eskalira. Zavr\u0161nica je koncipirana tako da nudi nastavak ovog horora s elementima znanstvene fantastike, tako da se nadam da \u0107e autori uspjeti kreativno pro\u0161iriti zanimljivo postavljenu pri\u010du.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Treba spomenuti da je mladi redatelj Kane Parsons (ro\u0111en 2005.) kalio zanat na internetu, odnosno na YouTubeu, gdje je kao redatelj i glumac ostvario serijal kratkih filmova \u2018The Backrooms\u2019 koji su stekli svoju publiku i fanove.
