Nakon dva filma koja je re\u017eirao s bratom Beniem, Josh je (kao i Benie) odlu\u010dio snimiti film samostalno. U zadnje vrijeme snima se puno biografskih filmova, koji u pravilu nemaju ba\u0161 pretjerane veze s biografijama ljudi o kojima je film sniman. &#8216;Marty Veli\u010danstveni&#8217; nije biografski film, ali je labavo baziran na biografiji Martya Reismana, stolnotenisa\u010da i zabavlja\u010da.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ve\u0107 od uvodnih scena redatelj nas uvla\u010di u svijet Martya Mausera, mladog stolnotenisa\u010da iz pedesetih godina pro\u0161log stolje\u0107a koji je dovoljno dobar da se mo\u017ee boriti za titulu svjetskog prvaka. Ali stolni tenis je u SAD-u u tom trenutku nepoznat sport pa Marty, da bi zaradio za put na svjetsko prvenstvo, mora raditi kod ujaka u trgovini cipela, gdje ga upoznajemo na po\u010detku filma u odli\u010dnoj uvodnoj sceni. Marty je, \u0161to vidimo odmah na po\u010detku filma, slatkorje\u010div, \u0161armantan, manipulativan, prepotentan, egoisti\u010dan, drzak, arogantan, beskrupulozan&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; width: 100%;\" src=\" https:\/\/image.tmdb.org\/t\/p\/original\/mB779cefbIWql7NmLf5qfwWWRZn.jpg \" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fotografiju ustupio <strong><a href=\" https:\/\/www.themoviedb.org\/movie\/1317288-marty-supreme \" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> TMDB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">U filmu koji u dva i pol sata ne smanjuje brzinu, pratimo Martya u raznim situacijama, od stolnoteniskih terena do ljubavnih zavrzlama s udanom prijateljicom iz djetinjstva, ali i biv\u0161om gluma\u010dkom zvijezdom od \u010dijeg mu\u017ea tra\u017ei sponzorstvo za put na prvenstvo, tu je i kriminalac \u010dija je jedina obitelj pas, potraga za psom, vlasnik dvorane za stolni tenis gdje Marty spava ako nema drugdje, kra\u0111a nakita, njegov (najvjerojatnije) jedini prijatelj crni taksist, pretili i usamljeni sin bogata\u0161a s kojim Marty \u017eeli pokrenuti liniju loptica za stolni tenis u boji, anga\u017eman u Harlem Globtroterima i igranje stolnog tenisa s Belom Kletzkim (lik koji se temelji na poljskom stolnotenisa\u010du Aloyzyu Ehrlichu, koji je pre\u017eivio Auschwitz i Dachau, a glumi ga Geza Rohrig, glumac iz jednog od najboljih filmova u ovom stolje\u0107u &#8216;Saulov sin&#8217;).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Glavno mjesto radnje je New York iz pedesetih godina pro\u0161log stolje\u0107a, \u010diju prljav\u0161tinu gotovo da mo\u017eemo opipati. Amerika koju vidimo nije ona ista Amerika pedesetih godina pro\u0161log stolje\u0107a koju nam vole prikazivati u filmovima. Marty je siroma\u0161an, kao ve\u0107ina ljudi koju poznaje, i stolni tenis vidi kao jedini na\u010din da se izvu\u010de. Ameri\u010dki san postoji samo za neke, a Marty je odlu\u010dio da \u0107e na ovaj ili onaj na\u010din on biti jedan od tih. Ovo nije sportski film o stolnom tenisu, ovo je zapravo film o mnogo toga. Rije\u010dima Timotheea Chalameta film govori o te\u017enji za snom, ambiciji i slu\u0161anju srca.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Timothee Chalamet u ulozi Martya ponovo dokazuje da je trenuta\u010dno jedan od najboljih glumaca, otkrivaju\u0107i sve nijanse slo\u017eenog lika kojem nije problem za svoj cilj i uzdignuti se i poniziti se. On vje\u0161to hoda po liniji gdje njegov antijunak ne postaje previ\u0161e antipati\u010dan \u0161to mu u kona\u010dnici donosi zlatni globus i novu nominaciju za Oscara. \u010citav gluma\u010dki ansambl, koji je poprili\u010dno \u0161aren, funkcionira besprijekorno. Gwyneth Paltrow kao Key Stone, glumica koja se nada povratku slave putem kazali\u0161nih dasaka, iznimno \u0161armantno donosi lik koji je Martyu i ljubavnica i zamjenska majka. Odessa A&#8217;zion koja glumi Rachel, Martyevu prijateljicu koja zatrudni s njim, je otkri\u0107e filma. Poznati redatelj Abel Ferarra u ulozi kriminalca sa psom (suprotno svojem liku ne voli pse i boji ih se) Ezre Mishkina je i vi\u0161e nego dobar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">U ostalim ulogama koje vrve ne glumcima od istih svakako treba izdvojiti Kevin O Learya biznismena kojega zovu kanadski Trump u ulozi Miltona Rockwela i reper Taylor The Creator u ulozi Wallya, Martyevog crnog prijatelja u doba segregacije. Posebno je zanimljiva mala uloga Davida Mameta, poznatog dramati\u010dara i redatelja koji je bio redoviti gost Riverside Table Tennis Courtsa kojim je upravljao Marty Reisman, u ulozi redatelja predstave u kojoj glumi Kay Stone. Koto Kawaguchi koji glumi Koto Enda, gluhog glavnog Martyeva rivala za stolnoteniskim stolom, i sam je profesionalni natjecatelj u stolnom tenisu za gluhe. Od stolnotenisa\u010da u filmu se jo\u0161 pojavljuju Timo Boll i Nikhil Kumar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Josh Safdie, ali i njegov direktor fotografije Darius Khondji, napravili su odli\u010dan posao, te su obadvojica zaslu\u017eeno nominirani za Oscara. Film ni jednoga trenutka, unato\u010d trajanju od dva i pol sata ne gubi na ritmu, niti se ponavlja. Film je ujedno i posveta mnogim filmovima, uz &#8216;The Hustler&#8217; i &#8216;The Colors of Money&#8217; koje je i sam redatelj naveo, u filmu se mogu osjetiti i utjecaji filmova &#8216;Sve \u0161to ste oduvijek \u017eeljeli znati o seksu, a niste se usudili pitati&#8217;, &#8216;Groznica subotnje ve\u010deri&#8217;, &#8216;Rocky&#8217; i zasigurno jo\u0161 nekoga kojega u brzini nisam primijetio. Na sljede\u0107oj dodijeli Oscara (2026) film je nominiran u devet kategorija.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Timothee Chalemet je navodno od 2018. godine konstantno trenirao stolni tenis i dok je radio na drugim filmovima.
