Nakon dugog niza godina publici \u0107e se pokazati presjek cjelokupnog i vi\u0161egodi\u0161njeg stvarala\u0161tva kipara prisutnog na sceni ve\u0107 vi\u0161e od pedeset godina, profesora Akademije likovnih umjetnosti do umirovljenja i dobitnika nagrade HDLU \u2013 a za \u017eivotno djelo 2016. godine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; width: 100%;\" src=\" https:\/\/gkd.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Miro-Vuco-Vukovi-detalj-Snimio-Darko-Bavoljak-scaled.jpg \" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fotografiju ustupio <strong><a href=\" https:\/\/gkd.hr\/izlozba\/vuco-zateceno-stanje-monografska-izlozba\/ \" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> GKD<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ranu karijeru Mire Vuce obilje\u017eilo je sudjelovanje u radu grupe Biafra, koja je djelovala od 1970. do 1978. godine. Ovo je razdoblje odredilo njegova umjetni\u010dka promi\u0161ljanja i stremljenja prema aktivizmu i dru\u0161tveno anga\u017eiranoj umjetnosti, naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e pesimisti\u010dkog raspolo\u017eenja. Protivljenje socijalnoj ravnodu\u0161nosti u likovnom smislu se u njegovom djelu o\u010ditovalo kroz borbu protiv doma\u0107e apstrakcije, a posebice protiv sebi dovoljne konceptualne umjetnosti. U njegovim oblicima nove ili violentne figuracije ogleda se ekspresionisti\u010dka silovitost i \u017eestina u kojoj je prisutna ivan\u010di\u0107evska i baconovska dramati\u010dnost. Kritika je opisala skulpture iz ovog perioda kao oblik tzv. \u201cradikalnog realizma\u201d u egzistencijalnom klju\u010du (Z. Rus). Umjesto trajnih materijala poput bronce, Vuco je preferirao nestandardne, \u010desto efemerne materijale poput poliestera. Ti materijali postaju klju\u010dni za razumijevanje karaktera ove izlo\u017ebe. U kasnijim radovima, poput serije reljefa iz osamdesetih godina, o\u010dituje se pomak prema taktilnijem izrazu, koji se postupno razvija u slikarstvu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nakon raspada grupe Biafra kod Vuce se javljaju lak\u0161e teme. Izvodi grupe an\u0111ela poja\u010danih bojom ili postole u terakoti, te se u tom periodu ukazuje se kao kipar vica, \u0161aljivih i duhovitih replika, krajnje osoban, autorefleksivan i meditativan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Umjetnik je neka svoja djela vezao i uz preokupacije poput portreta i javnih spomenika (npr. spomenik Tinu Ujevi\u0107u u Var\u0161avskoj ulici, Zagreb, 1991.).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Osim kiparstvom Miro Vuco se bavi i slikarstvom. Slike su ekspresivne, gustih i te\u0161kih namaza, reljefne enformelne strukture. Paleta mu se prote\u017ee od crnih, tamnih i mra\u010dnih pastelnih premaza, do svijetlih i \u017earko crvenih boja koje zra\u010de rado\u0161\u0107u \u2013 na ovoj izlo\u017ebi, po prvi \u0107e puta biti predstavljene hrvatskoj publici.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vucinu umjetnost karakterizira raznorodnost i razigranost: morfolo\u0161ka i tematska znati\u017eelja kao i interes za eksperimentalna rje\u0161enja. Ovom izlo\u017ebom zaokru\u017euje se vi\u0161edesetljetna umjetni\u010dka praksa Mire Vuce, koja je zapo\u010dela u razdoblju dru\u0161tvene nesigurnosti 1970-ih, a traje do dana\u0161njih dana, obilje\u017eenih druga\u010dijim, ali podjednako izazovnim okolnostima.
