Interijer svemirskog broda nije djelovao glamurozno kao u dvadesetak godina starijoj Kubrickovoj &#8216;Odiseji&#8217; (2001: A Space Odyssey; 1968.), ve\u0107 istro\u0161eno i neuredno, a svemirski putnici nisu bili sofisticirani znanstvenici, ve\u0107 brodski &#8216;\u0161ljakeri&#8217; koji moraju obavljati svakodnevne poslove. A najve\u0107i \u0161ok uzrokovalo je svemirsko bi\u0107e s obli\u017enjeg planeta koje jednog od putnika uzima kao podlogu u koju \u0107e polo\u017eiti svoj zametak. Dalje se sve zna, iz \u010dovjeka izlazi zastra\u0161uju\u0107e \u010dudovi\u0161te koje zapo\u010dinje smrtonosni pohod po svemirskom brodu&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; width: 100%;\" src=\" https:\/\/media.themoviedb.org\/t\/p\/w533_and_h300_bestv2\/9SSEUrSqhljBMzRe4aBTh17rUaC.jpg \" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fotografiju ustupio <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themoviedb.org\/movie\/945961-alien-romulus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> TMDB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ridley Scott kao redatelj zaslu\u017ean je za tri &#8216;Aliena&#8217;, prvog i jo\u0161 dva, slijede &#8216;Prometheus&#8217; (2012.) i <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/film-mag.net\/wp\/?p=31980\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> &#8216;Alien: Covenant&#8217;<\/a><\/strong> (2017.), u kojima je Alien predmet istra\u017eivanja i modificiranja kao biolo\u0161ko oru\u017eje transnacionalne kompanije. Medjutim, Alien je samosvjesno bi\u0107e pa se, i kao svemirsko oru\u017eje, mo\u017ee okrenuti protiv svojeg manipulatora. Nakon prvog &#8216;Aliena&#8217; James Cameron snimio je izvrsni akcijski SF horor &#8216;Aliens&#8217; (1986.), koji se i danas gleda bez daha. Slijede jo\u0161 dva Aliena u ovoj fran\u0161izi, koje je publika i kritika do\u010dekala neujedna\u010denim ocjenama, ali iz dana\u0161nje perspektive to su dobri filmovi. &#8216;Alien\u00b3&#8217; (1992.) Davida Finchera nastavlja pri\u010du o sukobu \u010dudovi\u0161ta i jedine pre\u017eivjele koja ide iz filma u film, Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver), koja se uspje\u0161no suprotstavlja svojoj no\u0107noj mori, kao i u \u010detvrtom nastavku &#8216;Alien Resurrection&#8217; (1997.) Jeana-Pierrea Jeuneta, u kojem autori koriste tada uvjetno re\u010deno nova tehnolo\u0161ka saznanja (kloniranje) kako bi nastavili fran\u0161izu. Snimljeno je i nekoliko spin-off filmova u kojima se Alien susre\u0107e s Predatorom. Svi ovi filmovi mogu se na\u0107i u DVD i Blu Ray izdanjima s hrvatskim titlovima, tako da fanovi mogu detaljno prou\u010davati \u0161to i kako se doga\u0111alo u alienovskom univerzumu. A u sjede\u0107oj 2025. godini planira se emitiranje televizijskog serijala &#8216;Alien&#8217; kao prequel prvog filma iz 1979. godine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zauzet snimanjem &#8216;Gladijatora 2&#8217; Ridley Scott je redateljski palicu za &#8216;Alien: Romulus&#8217; prepustio iskusnom Fedeu Alvarezu, ali opet ne toliko predanom ovoj fran\u0161izi da bi samostalno mogao iznijeti kompleksnu pri\u010du o danas ve\u0107 zaboravljenom svemirskom \u010dudovi\u0161tu. Najnoviji film jo\u0161 je jedna varijanta vi\u0111ena iz pro\u0161lih &#8216;Aliena&#8217; sukoba ljudske rase i svemirskog neuni\u0161tivog \u010dudovi\u0161ta u kojoj je vanzemaljac i dalje predvi\u0111en kao biolo\u0161ko oru\u017eje u ljudskim ratovima (iliti specijalnim operacijama).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pri\u010da po\u010dinje negdje na koloniziranom mra\u010dnom planetu na kojem se uz te\u0161ke uvjete rada eksploatira ruda. Nekolicina mladih zbog novonametnutih kvota radnih sati \u017eele pobje\u0107i na drugu planetu udaljenu dostupnim brojem svjetlosnih godina. Kao dobra \u0161ansa za bijeg u\u010dini im se napu\u0161tena svemirska stanica u orbiti planeta, \u010dija namjena im je nepoznata. Dolaskom na nju ustanove da je to istra\u017eiva\u010dka stanica podijeljena u dvije zasebne jedinice Romulus i Remus, a slijedom ubrzanih doga\u0111aja otkrivaju da je predmet istra\u017eivanja upravo Alien, kojeg prepoznajemo iz prethodnih filmova&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jedna od bjegunki sa sobom vodi i androida, ili kako ga u filmu nazivaju sintetik (David Jonsson). Na brodu se aktivira o\u0161te\u0107eni sintetik (Ian Holm) koji radi u interesu kompanije na u\u0161trb ljudskih ciljeva&#8230; Zapo\u010dinje utrka s vremenom jer se Alien aktivirao i po\u010deo skupljati ljudska tijela za svoju daljnju reprodukciju.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kao podloga za &#8216;Alien: Romulusa&#8217; mo\u017eda bi trebalo pogledati prethodni film iz fran\u0161ize &#8216;Alien: Covenant&#8217;, ali to nije obavezan uvjet, gledatelj \u0107e se brzo uklju\u010diti u pri\u010du. Ve\u0107i problem s najnovijim &#8216;Alienom&#8217; je \u0161to je realiziran kao tipski akcijski SF horor film s nizom predvidljivih preokreta. Te\u0161ko je na\u0107i ne\u0161to novo nakon \u0161to su u fran\u0161izi istro\u0161ena mnoga iznena\u0111enja, ali producenti ra\u010dunaju na novu mladu multipleks publiku koju ne zanimaju SF klasici niti mogu s njima uspore\u0111ivati nove naslove. Pretjerana akcija na istra\u017eiva\u010dkoj platformi poni\u0161tit \u0107e efekte strave i iznena\u0111enja, a pogotovo \u0161to autori nisu uspjeli u\u010diniti jasnim ambijent u kojem se radnja odigrava, smatraju\u0107i kako je ubrzani tempo filma dovoljan da gledatelj ne obra\u0107a pa\u017enju na to.
