Ako je mislila na goli\u0161ave scene, nije ih bilo. Nismo vidjeli ni Josephininu golu\u2026 nogu \ud83d\ude42 , a najdublji u erotskom pogledu bio je njezin dekolte. Ni Napoleona nismo vidjeli u ulozi velikog ljubavnika, ve\u0107 samodopadnog i frustriranog mu\u017ejaka-dje\u010daka kojemu su jednako va\u017eni (i indikativno blizu) pojmovi majke i \u017eene.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Oznaka filma brojem 15 prije bi se odnosila na scene ubijanja (odsijecanja glava, primjerice) i ratnih razaranja na koje su dana\u0161nji petnaestogodi\u0161njaci otporniji iskustvima igrica i TV vijesti. A ako je \u0161kolarac s mamom u kinu \u017eelio saznati kako postati povijesna li\u010dnost koju \u0107e zvati velikim pobjednikom uz milijunske \u017ertve na vlastitoj strani, nije dobio recept. Metode su starije od Napoleona. Povijest nije u\u010diteljica \u017eivota, ve\u0107 se ponavlja. Stotinu godina poslije bitke na Waterloou, na istim europskim poljima bjesnio je svjetski rat, a scene \u017eivotinja i ljudi u krvavim ljudskim obra\u010dunima podsje\u0107aju na Spielbergov &#8216;Put rata&#8217; (War Horse; 2011.).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; width: 100%;\" src=\" https:\/\/media.themoviedb.org\/t\/p\/w1066_and_h600_bestv2\/eHMh7kChaNeD4VTdMCXLJbRTzcI.jpg \" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fotografiju ustupio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themoviedb.org\/movie\/753342-napoleon\"><strong>TMDB<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Napoleon nije osoba kojoj se Ridley Scott divi. Niti ga osu\u0111uje na na\u010din kojim bi pretenciozni protagonist bio zadovoljan. Mo\u017eda je najbli\u017ei (ali ne posve tako negativno) mi\u0161ljenju hladnokrvnog Wellingtona (sjajni Rupert Everett u kratkoj ulozi), za kojega je Napoleon \u0161teto\u010dina, ali ne &#8216;big deal&#8217; kojim se desetlje\u0107ima bavi Europa. Odnos umanjivanja pompeznog imagea malog velikog osvaja\u010da dominira filmom vi\u0161e od velikog negiranja ili osude. Ne pretjeruje se \u010dak ni s omalova\u017eavanjem junaka koji je, u najmanju ruku povremeno, smije\u0161an. I to ne samo kad u\u017eiva u janje\u0107im kotletima &#8216;koje mu je udijelila sudbina&#8217;, ve\u0107 svojim uvjerenjem da je nepogre\u0161iv i neodoljiv.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A propos neodoljivosti\u2026 Ako se i mo\u017eemo pitati je li Scottov Napoleon lu\u0111ak ili junak, nema sumnje u to \u0161to je bio za Josephinu. Ona se jedva mo\u017ee suzdr\u017eati od podsmjeha, nema govora o ljubavi. Iskusna aristokratkinja &#8216;sku\u017eila&#8217; je iskompleksiranog provincijalca u usponu i to koristi za vlastite ciljeve (ni to nije ugodna uloga jer se naporni dje\u010da\u010di\u0107 u svakom trenutku mo\u017ee pretvoriti u grubijana).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">U svojoj dru\u0161tvenoj ulozi Napoleon je \u010dovjek koji je po\u010deo kao branitelj republike, a izborio se za carsku krunu, pri \u010demu ne vidi kontradikciju ni apsurd. Kad smo kod smije\u0161nih povoda, tu je i scena prilikom ceremonije krunidbe u kojoj Napoleon, pretovaren hermelinskim krznom i drugim krunskim atributima, na glavi pritisnutoj debelim zlatnim lovor vijencem ne mo\u017ee staviti krunu na glavu, pa je samo primi\u010de i vra\u0107a.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Koji su sastojci za uspon do dru\u0161tvenog vrha (i pada)? Mje\u0161avina sposobnosti, arogancije, hrabrosti, ludosti i stjecaja okolnosti. Istaknuto mjesto zauzima nedostatak odgovornosti za vlastite poraze. Drugi su krivi. Uostalom, nema poraza. To ne zna\u010di da ne\u0107e svaki niski, bezobzirni, kontradiktorni, iskompleksirani freudovski \u010ditljiv &#8216;maj\u010din sin&#8217; postati Napoleon. Film se kratko i ne ba\u0161 pohvalno referira i na drugu stranu, masu koja proizvodi i slavi takve junake. Te ekipu suradnika i suparnika velikih igra\u010da koji se izmjenjuju u tim ulogama.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ridley Scott puno toga preska\u010de iz op\u0161irne faktografije i fikcije o Napoleonu. Od \u0161ezdesetak bitaka koje je vodio prikazane su tri, Toulon, Austerlitz i Waterloo, uz pohod na Rusiju s epizodom prazne Moskve i zimskog poraznog povla\u010denja. Ima toliko materijala koji je efektno presko\u010den, pa detalji ne zagu\u0161uju glavnu liniju. Zgodna je, primjerice, elipsa od odlaska Napoleona i Marije Louise u spavaonicu do ro\u0111enja njihova sina, nasljednika. Ali ti skokovi katkad ostavljaju i pukotine u kojima se gube odre\u0111ene pretpostavke i zna\u010denja, a i likovi. Nakon toulonske pobjede i prve vojne promocije, Napoleon se pona\u0161a kao proku\u0161ani pobjednik, \u0161to se mo\u017ee bazirati samo na nizu, a ne jedinstvenom postignu\u0107u. A do kraja filma ne saznamo \u0161to se dogodilo s nekim zna\u010dajnim likovima iz Napoleonova okru\u017eenja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Napoleon Ridleyja Scotta nije idealiziran niti promoviran u povijesnog superjunaka. \u010cujemo ga kako da\u0161\u0107e od straha prije bitke i cvili zbog ljubavnih muka. On mo\u017ee gurnuti ruku u krvavu ranu i masu vojnika poslati u smrt. On moralno okupira mumificirani Egipat i brani Francusku osvajanjem Rusije. Ali ba\u0161 kad pomislimo da ga mo\u017eemo o(t)pisati kao slabi\u0107a ili \u0161arlatana, Napoleon dobije priliku gotovo hipnotizerskim pogledom upravljati ljudima i doga\u0111ajima, a pod svojim smije\u0161nim \u0161e\u0161irom izgledati mo\u0107no. Uvjerljivoj metamorfozi doprinosi i izbor Joaquina Phoenixa za naslovnu ulogu. Scott ga ne poku\u0161ava pomladiti u prikazu Napoleona na po\u010detku karijere. Poreme\u0107eni Commodus iz njegova &#8216;Gladijatora&#8217; (2000.) pokazuje se kao fantasti\u010dno rje\u0161enje &#8216;napoleonske enigme&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Film po\u010dinje scenama pada monarhije u vihoru francuske revolucije, koncentriran na sudbinu Marije Antoinette. Njeno tijelo, lice, a osobito kosa nose tjeskobnu simboliku pometnje i poraza, s vrhuncem u prikazu pogubljenja i zastra\u0161uju\u0107eg prikaza odsje\u010dene glave. Slijede mahnitanja razdoblja terora i previranja me\u0111u vo\u0111ama, a novi krvavi vizualni udar prouzro\u010di topovska kugla u prsa Napoleonova konja. Od prikazanih bitaka vizualno je osobito dojmljiv Austerlitz s prizorima utapanja vojnika i \u017eivotinja u zale\u0111enom jezeru. Uz epske scene bitaka i monumentalnih interijera, vizualno su atraktivni i komorni kostimirani prikazi primanja, ve\u010dera te diplomatskih susreta i okreta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Film sadr\u017ei sve elemente velikog filma o velikom imenu, ako ne junaku.
