Tonight, the European Film Awards celebrated their 35th<\/sup> edition of Europe\u2019s most prestigious and renowned award honouring the best of European cinema. The winners were being revealed during the grand gala show at Reykjav\u00edk\u2019s Harpa concert hall in front of 1,250 international guests. With four awards TRIANGLE OF SADNESS was the big winner of the night. The award show is the dazzling highlight of the European Film Academy\u2019s newly launched initiative Month of European Film that kicked-off four weeks earlier.<\/p>\n

\nGRANNY’S SEXUAL LIFE <\/strong>(BABI\u010cINO SEKSUALNO \u017dIVLJENJE) directed by Ur\u0161ka Djuki\u0107 & \u00c9milie Pigeard (Slovenia, France)The winners of the Excellence Awards in the categories \u2018European Cinematography\u2019, \u2018Editing\u2019, \u2018Production Design\u2019, \u2018Costume Design\u2019, \u2018Make-up & Hair\u2019, \u2018Original Score\u2019, \u2018Sound\u2019 and \u2018Visual Effects\u2019 as well as the winners of the \u2018European Lifetime Achievement\u2019, the \u2018European Achievement in World Cinema\u2019, the \u2018European Innovative Storytelling\u2019, the newly introduced \u2018European Sustainability Award \u2013 Prix Film4Climate\u2019, the \u2018Eurimages Co-Production Award\u2019, the \u2018European University Award (EUFA)\u2019 and the \u2018Young Audience Award\u2019 have already been announced earlier and were honoured in Reykjav\u00edk.<\/p>\n

The European Film Awards also included the announcement of the nominations for LUX \u2013 The European Audience Film Award, presented by the European Parliament and the European Film Academy and in partnership with the European Commission and Europa Cinemas.<\/p>\n
