F. Beigbeder, jo\u0161 uvijek zaposlenik agencije Young &amp; Rubicam, dobiva naprasan otkaz. Ali tog ljeta 2000. u Parizu govorilo se da treba \u010ditati Beigbedera&#8230; Premda osporavan i napadan od onih koje je uznemirio, ali hvaljen od kritike i publike, roman je svom autoru donio veliki uspjeh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dvadeset godina nakon prvog hrvatskog izdanja <em>129,90 kn<\/em> (jesen, 2002.) preveden na tridesetak jezika diljem svijeta, <em>\u20ac19,90<\/em> kultni je roman po\u010detka 21. stolje\u0107a, koji je pre\u017eivio zub vremena i koji nemilosrdno korespondira s dana\u0161njicom; ni\u0161ta nije izgubio na svojoj aktualnosti a potvrdio je snagu svakog dobrog knji\u017eevnog teksta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Beigbeder<\/strong> (1965.) rodio se u otmjenom predgra\u0111u Pariza u dobrostoje\u0107oj gra\u0111anskoj obitelji. Karijeru je zapo\u010deo kao kreativac u reklamnim agencijama, a 1990. objavljuje prvijenac <em>M\u00e9moire d&#8217;un jeune homme d\u00e9rang\u00e9<\/em>. Romanom\u00a0\u00a0<em>\u20ac19,90<\/em> (2000.) postaje slavan i izvan Francuske. Danas radi kao pisac, knji\u017eevni kriti\u010dar, komentator i scenarist. Nastupio je u desetak dugometra\u017enih filmova te je dva filma i re\u017eirao (<em>Ljubav traje tri godine<\/em>, 2012.; <em>L&#8217;Id\u00e9al<\/em>, 2016.). Osniva\u010d je knji\u017eevne nagrade Flore. Najva\u017enija djela: <em>Windows on the World<\/em>, 2004. (Nagrada Interalli\u00e9 2013.), <em>Ljubav traje tri godine<\/em>, 2005., <em>Romanti\u010dni egoist<\/em>, 2006., <em>Upomo\u0107, molim oprost<\/em>, 2007., <em>Praznici u komi<\/em>, 2009., <em>Francuski roman<\/em>, 2010. (Nagrada Renaudot), <em>\u017divot bez kraja<\/em>, 2018., <em>\u010covjek koji pla\u010de od smijeha<\/em>, 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cDati takav naslov knjizi zna\u010di iskreno re\u0107i da je priroda ovog na\u0161eg svijeta &#8211; novac &#8211; kao neprikosnovena i posljednja realnost. Svi koji participiraju u tom okru\u017eenju su licemjeri: \u201ckreativci\u201d se me\u0111usobno preziru, svjesni su da proizvode govno, ali bi \u017eeljeli biti kreatori&#8230; zapravo snimati filmove, pisati romane, slikati, etc. Ali budu\u0107i da su \u201ckreativci\u201d oni preziru pak i svoje kolege komercijaliste, koji pak preziru klijente, a klijenti pak reklamne agencije.
