Night Shyamalan svoje likove smje\u0161ta u neku vrstu metafizi\u010dke stvarnosti, koja bi se mogla \u017eanrovski filmski okarakterizirati kao horor, odnosno to\u010dnije re\u010deno ostvaruje sa svojim poimanjem neke druge alternativne stvarnosti efekte horora. Mo\u017eete li zamisliti da se na\u0111ete na prekrasnoj pla\u017ei negdje u oceanskom raju, ali s jednom &#8216;kvakom&#8217;. Za svakih pola sata realnog vremena va\u0161e tijelo ostari za jednu godinu, a o tome koliko imate godina, ovisi kako brzo \u0107ete starjeti. Ako ste mladi, to i ne\u0107e biti tako stra\u0161no, bar naizgled vama, dok \u0107e okolina s u\u017easom promatrati kako malo dijete u roku desetak sati postaje odrasli \u010dovjek. U srednjim godinama starenje se toliko i ne primje\u0107uje, a ako ste stvarno stari, pitanje je sata kada \u0107e va\u0161 \u017eivot iste\u0107i\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; width: 100%;\" src=\" https:\/\/www.editus.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/OLD-830x553px-1.jpg \" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fotografiju ustupio Editus<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">U &#8216;Ostarjelima&#8217; pratimo \u010detvero\u010dlanu obitelj, roditelje i dvoje djece od 6 i 11 godina, koja dolazi u luksuzni resort s ljubaznom hotelskom dobrodo\u0161licom. Uvjeti za odmor su idealni, i nakon par dana upravitelj hotela im predla\u017ee posjet osamljenoj pla\u017ei s jo\u0161 nekoliko gostiju. Dolazak im je poreme\u0107en neo\u010dekivanim susretima. A kada poku\u0161aju oti\u0107i s pla\u017ee, to se poka\u017ee kao nemogu\u0107a misija. A onda zapo\u010dinju promjene navedene u uvodnom dijelu teksta. Ubrzano starenje iz temelja promijenit \u0107e njihove odnose i dovesti do nepredvi\u0111enih me\u0111usobnih sukoba\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zanimljivo je da M. Night Shyamalan u zavr\u0161nici filma nudi i varijantu racionalnog razrje\u0161enja u ovoj iracionalnoj situaciji. Prakti\u010dki prihva\u0107anje starenja u dugogodi\u0161njem razdoblju nije problem sve dok se ne po\u010dne odvijati primjetno ubrzano. U\u017eas u kojem su se na\u0161li likovi ovog filma gotovo je neizdr\u017eiv, ali oni moraju spremni na izazov kako ga prihvatiti. M. Night Shyamalan voli postavljati likove u takve bezizlazne situacije i pratiti kako reagiraju na dileme. Film koji vam se mo\u017eda i ne\u0107e svidjeti, ali \u0107ete ga pamtiti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nakon dvije nezapa\u017eene komi\u010dne drame, &#8216;Praying with Anger&#8217; (1992.) i &#8216;Wide Awake&#8217; (1998.), M.
