Pratimo kreativni proces slikanja stabla dunje koje je sam slikar posadio u vlastitom vrtu. <strong>L\u00f3pez <\/strong>poku\u0161ava uhvatiti zrake svjetla koje prolaze kroz li\u0161\u0107e prije negoli sa stabla ispadnu svi plodovi i li\u0161\u0107e, no istovremeno biva prekidan nenajavljenim posjetama. Tamo je proveo dvije godine, otimaju\u0107i mornare i prisiljavaju\u0107i ih da mu postanu robovi. Nekoliko putnika spominje Watkinsa, te je kona\u010dno zaokupio pa\u017enju <strong>Hermana Melvillea <\/strong>koji je opisao pustinjaka Oberlusa u devetoj skici\u00a0<em>Za\u010daranih otoka.\u00a0<\/em>Melvilleova pri\u010da inspirirala je roman\u00a0<em>La Iguana<\/em>\u00a0<strong>Alberta Vasquez-Figueroe <\/strong>koji je Oberlusu dodao deformaciju lica zbog koje nalikuje iguani.
