Kraj Guttenbergove ere i prijelaz u digitalnu nije zna\u010dio samo zamjenu tiskarskog stroja tipkovnicom, ve\u0107 dru\u0161tvene promjene odnosa snaga, vrsta junaka i posljedica njihovog djelovanja. Herojsko doba u kojem se u ime principa i apstraktnih vrijednosti imalo smisla izlagati opasnosti, pro\u0161lo je. I dalje ima onih koji su se spremni &#8216;\u017ertvovati&#8217;, ali uz sve manje satisfakcije za svoje napore i manje rezultata. \u0160to god se otkrije, objavi i \u0161okira javnost, ne\u0107e uzrokovati razmjerne posljedice, jedan skandal zamijenit \u0107e novi ili bizarniji.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ovo je vrijeme akcijskih junaka koji rje\u0161avaju probleme nadljudskim snagama i ne nalaze upori\u0161ta u stvarnosti. Svaki pametan \u010dovjek zna da se &#8216;ni\u0161ta ne mo\u017ee u\u010diniti&#8217;, a ako netko ipak \u017eeli akcijskim podvigom zadu\u017eiti \u010dovje\u010danstvo, mjesto mu je u parodiji \ud83d\ude42 . Paradoksalno je da je do ove situacije do\u0161lo preko pobjeda pravih junaka neposredne pro\u0161losti, a ne njihovim porazom. Spielberg iznosi jedan od niza primjera u kojima se principijelnost i hrabrost novinskih profesionalaca uspjela izboriti za istinu, ali, kao \u0161to je ve\u0107 napisano, to su &#8216;tempi passati&#8217;. S aspekta nove multipleks publike, film djeluje &#8216;zastarjelo&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s25.postimg.cc\/66jxc2q9r\/Novine.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nNovine ; Ustupio CineStar<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Filmska pri\u010da bazira se na stvarnom doga\u0111aju. Nakon godina ameri\u010dke stagnacije na vijetnamskom rati\u0161tu, poznati &#8216;The Times&#8217; objavljuje povjerljive podatke o pora\u017eavaju\u0107im procjenama ishoda rata. Nixonova administracija zabranjuje objavljivanje podataka, ali novine s pretenzijama rasta, &#8216;The Washington Post&#8217; (skra\u0107eno Post) nastavljaju objavljivati materijale. Na kraju se najavljuje sljede\u0107i Nixonov poraz u odnosu na novine i novinarstvo, Watergate afera. I o tome je snimljen film, puno bli\u017ee aktualnom doga\u0111aju: &#8216;Svi predsjednikovi ljudi&#8217; (All the President&#8217;s Men; 1976.) u re\u017eiji Alana J. Pakule.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Problem je da trijumf &#8216;Post&#8217;-a ne dovodi do trijumfa te vrste medija ili tog na\u010dina novinarstva. U filmu ve\u0107 vidimo naznake kako se medijski utjecaj prelijeva na televiziju, a danas se i diplomatski stavovi prenose internetskom mre\u017eom. Dobitnik, dakle, u kona\u010dnici gubi. Dok sam gledala napete scene pripreme teksta za tisak, metalne reljefe slova za otisak, pitala sam koliko takvih strojeva jo\u0161 postoji. Jesu li za snimanje morali uzeti neki muzejski primjerak, ima li jo\u0161 ljudi koji to znaju raditi, postoje li jo\u0161 ta zanimanja? A ako i ima, \u0161to jo\u0161 zna\u010de u svijetu u kojem se printaju i ljudski organi?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nije problem u izvoru vijesti, ve\u0107 reakciji na njih. Mogu\u0107nost da se objavi sve i da to bilo tko mo\u017ee objaviti, dakle, u punoj &#8216;novinarskoj slobodi&#8217; za koju se zala\u017eu i junaci ove filmske pri\u010de, paradoksalno dovodi do pasivizacije primatelja vijesti i njihove trivijalizacije. Svijet je u me\u0111uvremenu zasi\u0107en svim mogu\u0107im vijestima, tako da ne reagira ni na najve\u0107e skandale. Uspje\u0161na pri\u010da o novinama koje u ime slobode rije\u010di i demokracije uspiju pobijediti, ne zna\u010di trajnu pobjedu tih ideala. A na margini principijelnosti, nazna\u010den je i nusproizvod, \u010ditanost. Novine koje objavljuju ono \u0161to je drugima zabranjeno objaviti, dobivaju na popularnosti i profitabilnosti. A to je atraktivno i konzervativnim ulaga\u010dima na medijskom prostoru.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">U &#8216;Post&#8217;-u koji je snimio prepoznatljivim stilom, Spielberg koristi kvalitetne resurse i oslanja se na provjerene vrijednosti, uklju\u010divo i casting, tu je Maryl Streep, Tom Hanks, potencijal za Oscara, priznanja uglednih institucija, ali ne masovnu gledanost. Mogao se odlu\u010diti i na crnobijeli film (takvi su dokumentarni umeci), jer sve djeluje daleko i pro\u0161lo. Tko danas razumije izdava\u010da koji ka\u017ee da je potrebno ulagati u kvalitetu novina i bolje pla\u0107ati novinare? Svijet bez mobitela i ra\u010dunala (u kojem je, bar po medijskim informacijama \ud83d\ude42 , \u010dovjek sletio na Mjesec!), iz informati\u010dke perspektive \u010dini se arhai\u010dan, ni automobili koje koriste novinari nisu glamurozni&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Autori filma podrazumijevaju da gledatelji poznaju sudionike doga\u0111aja, li\u010dnosti iz ameri\u010dke politike tog (i prethodnog) vremena, \u010dak i njihove nadimke i skra\u0107enice imena. Pa ako je to i to\u010dno za doma\u0107u populaciju, pitanje je koliko se svjetska publika sje\u0107a lokalnih detalja. Naravno, kontekst je poznat, tragedija vijetnamskog rata, predsjedni\u010dka imena, glavni akteri, ali novosti koje se ti\u010du njihovih suradnika, tajnika, pomo\u0107nika, u brzim dijalozima u novinarskom miljeu ote\u017eavaju pra\u0107enje glavnog smjera radnje.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Film djeluje kao moderna bajka, prije nego ekranizacija stvarnog doga\u0111aja. Tome doprinosi i Spielbergova sklonost idealizaciji &#8216;pokrajnjih&#8217; odnosa, napose obiteljskih. Tako po\u017ertvovna supruga glavnog urednika sendvi\u010dima opslu\u017euje redakciju u svom domu i podr\u017eava svoga mu\u017ea u egzistencijski rizi\u010dnoj odluci.
