U projekt se upustio shakespearijanski Kenneth Branagh (Henrik V, Hamlet, Macbeth) i to u ulozi i glavnog junaka i redatelja, u obje manje uspje\u0161no od mogu\u0107eg, a kao redatelj manje uspje\u0161no nego kao glumac.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; width: 100%;\" src=\" https:\/\/img.cineplexx.hr\/media\/rs\/inc\/movies_licences\/Orient_expres_5.jpg \" \/><br \/>\nUbojstvo u Orient Expressu ; Ustupio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cineplexx.hr\/movie\/ubojstvo-u-orient-expressu\/\">Cineplexx<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pitanje je za\u0161to se i\u0161lo u novu interpretaciju poznatog djela Agathe Christie, napose nakon spektakla iz 1974. godine u re\u017eiji Sidneyja Lumeta s onovremenom zvjezdanom ekipom glumaca, medju kojima su bili Albert Finney (Herucle Poirot), Laureen Bacall, Martin Balsam, Ingrid Bergman, Jacqueline Bisset, Jean-Pierre Cassel, Sean Connery, John Gielgud, Anthony Perkins, Wanessa Redgrave, Richard Widmark, Michael York&#8230; A odgovor je obnavljanje i kori\u0161tenje interesa nove filmske generacije koja nije vidjela prethodni film, a malo je vjerojatno da su pro\u010ditali roman, pa makar bio i krimi\u0107. Ali neizvjesnost ishoda (sjetimo se apela nekih redatelja u kojem mole gledatelje da ne odaju poznanicima razrje\u0161enje slu\u010daja, kako bi sa zanimanjem pratili radnju) nije ono \u0161to dana\u0161nju publiku privla\u010di, popularni su \u017eanrovi koji impliciraju odre\u0111eni ishod (happy end ili nastavak pustolovina), ve\u0107 akcijska, akcelerirana i adrenalinska radnja i fantasti\u010dni specijalni efekti koji se posti\u017eu prije za ra\u010dunalom nego na slikovitim lokacijama snimanja (ukoliko se ne radi o Dubrovniku i drugim na\u0161im svjetskim filmskim lokacijama \ud83d\ude42 ). Stoga je Kenneth Branagh odlu\u010dio ubrzati, poja\u010dati i akcijski pokrenuti samouvjerenog belgijskog detektiva, pa je u tom speed up-u i blow up-u pretjerao i u veli\u010dini njegovih brkova (koji se prote\u017eu u u\u0161ne zaliske, a uz apostrof bradice nalikuju mu\u0161ketirskim). Moglo bi se re\u0107i da to zamje\u0107ujem kao pristrana stranka, jer sam ve\u0107 na po\u010detku proglasila Sucheta &#8216;svojim&#8217; Poirotom. Ali i Finney mi se vi\u0161e svi\u0111ao od ovog Branagha, koji ne samo pretjeruje s brkovima, ve\u0107 i svojim geswtikulacijama i afektacijama kao temperamentna primadona, a uz to gubi dostojanstvenu nespretnost Carskog pingvina i trkom, skokom i vikom pretvara se u gotovo akcijskog junaka.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kao redatelj Branagh (s pravom?) zaklju\u010duje da mu je u filmu potrebno vi\u0161e napetosti nego \u0161to je ima u inteligentnoj potrazi za ubojicom, pa ubacuje i borila\u010dke i akcijske scene, a da bi ostvario izravnu akcijsku napetost, spreman je u ravnicu izme\u0111u Vinkovaca i Slavonskog Broda (u filmu skra\u0107eno na Brod), postaviti alpske prijevoje i drvenu konstrukciju vijadukta po kojoj se onda penju ili spu\u0161taju, kli\u017eu, a mogu i pasti, njegovi junaci.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I Branagh, kao i prethodno Lumet koristi zvu\u010dna gluma\u010dka imena, ali ako akcijom \u017eeli privu\u0107i teenagere, onda je i ova postava &#8216;prestara&#8217; za njih. Sam Branagh nije za njih celebrity s potencijalom masovnog privla\u010denja publike, a za one koji prate njegov opus, prije ih asocira na Hamleta nego Poirota. Ali ni Johnny Depp mimo &#8216;Pirata s Kariba&#8217;, ni Michelle Pfeifer i Judy Dench ne\u0107e privu\u0107i Facebook generacije, ako ne glume u fantasyju ili akcijskoj fran\u0161izi (vidi Pfeifer kao \u017denu ma\u010dku u Burtonovom &#8216;Batman se vra\u0107a&#8217; (1992.) ili Judi Dench kao \u0161eficu novijeg Jamesa Bonda).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I tu je Branagh poku\u0161ao &#8216;i\u0107i s vremenom&#8217; (i sniziti tro\u0161kove snimanja), jer je popis ra\u010dunalnih djelatnika ve\u0107i nego popis stuntmena, a i taj nije kratak. Ostaje dojam (\u010dak i ako nije tako) da je dosta scena urbanih eksterijera snimljeno na desktopu. Na zavr\u0161noj \u0161pici navode se francuske i \u0161vicarske (pred)alpske lokacije, ali ne sje\u0107am se da li su navedene i orijentalne metropole (Jeruzalem i Istanbul), u kojima po\u010dinje film.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Paradoksalno, nastoje\u0107i akcijski &#8216;nabrijati&#8217; radnju, Branagh gubi na napetosti finog umnog napora koji dovodi do neo\u010dekivanog razrje\u0161enja. Zapravo u dobrom dijelu filma, Poirot se pona\u0161a kao da zna rje\u0161enje, a onda zdvaja zbog te\u017eine problema. I jo\u0161 jedan detalj u Poirotovom make overu. Bez potrebe ili povoda, Poirot daje naslutiti neku svoju biv\u0161u nesretnu ljubavnu vezu i povjerava dvojbe slici svoje simpatije, sa sli\u010dnom odano\u0161\u0107u kao Monk uspomeni svoje Trudy (uzgred, izme\u0111u Poirota i Monka postoje sli\u010dnosti, ali jasno je od koga mogao &#8216;pokupiti&#8217; i &#8216;poja\u010dati&#8217; mu\u0161ice do cjelovitog lika).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sve u svemu, ovaj novi razmetljivi Poirot nije mi se osobito svidio, pa mi preostaje u ku\u0107nom kinu u\u017eivati u interpretaciji Davida Sucheta.
