Don’t miss out on ‘The Rehearsal: A Conversation with Nathan Fielder’
LIVE EVENT
Nathan Fielder is visiting CPH:DOX for a very special evening at Bremen Teater dedicated to his wildly innovative HBO series ‘The Rehearsal’. Fielder broke through with his own take on reality TV with ‘Nathan for You’ in 2013, but with ‘The Rehearsal’ he has not just created arguably the most talked-about series of the last year.
The event will consist of a screening of an episode of his ground-breaking show, followed by a moderated conversation with Fielder about his work with room for questions from the audience. Presented in partnership with HBO.
Dominic Ongwen was just nine years old when the Lord Resistance Army terrorist group in Uganda abducted him and killed his parents. Joseph Kony’s guerrilla group then tortured, brainwashed and forced the boy to kill others. Thirty years later, Ongwen surrendered to the authorities and now stands accused of crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
Meet the film’s directors Emil Langballe and Lukasz Konopa in conversation with Ugandan Krispus Ayena, who is the film’s protagonist and defense lawyer for former child soldier Dominic Ongwen. The conversation is moderated by historian of ideas and journalist Oscar Rothstein.
With a massive cigar in the corner of his mouth, a drink in his hand, and an abysmal contempt for his political opponents, Roger Stone is the born advisor to Donald Trump. Stone is a Republican kingmaker with a track-record stretching back to President Nixon, which he has tattooed on his back. With unique access, Christoffer Guldbrandsen has created a film from the very centre of power in the final months of the Trump administration, culminating in the storming of Congress.
Meet director Christoffer Guldbrandsen and cinematographer Frederik Marbell after the film’s world premiere.
Don’t miss out on the world premiere of ‘On the Edge’
