Soi CHEANG’s (MOTORWAY, ACCIDENT, LIMBO) new feature film MAD FATE will celebrate its world premiere in Berlinale Special at the Berlin International Film Festival 2023. MAD FATE marks Soi CHEANG’s second time at the Berlin International Film Festival. His film LIMBO premiered 2021 in Berlinale Special.

The films of the filmmaker, actor and screenwriter Soi CHEANG have screened at numerous festivals: MOTORWAY screened at Locarno Film Festival, ACCIDENT was in competition at the Venice International Film Festival. His latest film, black-and-white stylish thriller LIMBO, premiered at the Berlinale and later earned him 14 nominations at the 40th Hong Kong Film Awards. THE MONKEY KING series marks his greatest commercial success with a total box office of 440 Million US Dollars.
